Tour of the capital starting with the Cerro Monserrate, of historical importance. Follow your route heading to the historic center visiting the colonial neighborhood of La Candelaria and the square of Chorro de Quevedo, known as the point on which the city was founded. This morning we’ll have breakfast in the hotel. We leave Bogota and drive northwards for about an hour and a half to Zipaquira, where we’ll visit the unique Salt Cathedral. This subterranean cathedral was carved out of the salt bedrock in an old salt mine. We will have a guided tour, following the carved stations of the cross to reach the main part of the cathedral, which has the capacity for over 8000 worshippers. Continuing onwards by road, we should arrive at the beautiful town of Villa de Leyva, colonial jewel declared national monument visit to the Plaza and Mayor and to the sites of tourist interest such as the liquor factory, the House of the First Congress, the Hot Street, ending the church of the Discalced Carmelites. Departure to Cumbal, municipality of the southern part of the department of Nariño, its name is of Mayan origin and its founder is the Cacique Cumbe, it is part of the Andean mountain range and borders Ecuador. You will visit the Laguna de la Bolsa located at the foot of the Cumbal volcano, at an altitude of 3,638 meters, a privileged place for ecological tourism. Lunch. Departure to Ipiales, during the crossing, you can see a beautiful landscape typical of the Andean area of Nariño. 7 km. of Ipiales is the sanctuary of Our Lady of Las Lajas with a height of 2,612 meters above sea level, jewel of the architecture and religiosity of our country. All day visit to a typical village of Filandia, famous for its “antioqueño” architecture, as well as for basket weaving, and to the Valle del Cocora. Located within the central mountain range, it is part of Los Nevados National Park, the ideal spot to admire the “palma de cera del Quindío”. Numerous bird species inhabit the área. The roads are lined with numerous “fincas” or farm houses built in typical coffee growing architecture. A short walk to see the palms. Continuation on a 10 km road to Salento, characterized by old and colorful houses that trace their origin to Colonial times. Visit of the countryside and transfer to Pereira. Overnight stay.

Take a day trip to the colourful village of Guatape. It is famous for the Penol Boulder, to 200 metre high monolith. Climb its steps and be rewarded with breath-taking views over the village and the surrounding lakes. You can enjoy a typical Colombian lunch on the waterfront and even take a boat across the reservoir. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Around 10:00 am after the refreshment, departure for the Indigenous community of Remanso, pata Pajarito hill, lunch, accommodation in the camping community (tent, mat and blanket). Free afternoon to rest. Optional: Hikes around the hills and water activities (swimming, fishing and cayac). Around 6:00 pm, lunch, campfire and an exotic evening with narration of ethnic stories.
The tour will take you to the places explored by Alexander Von Humboldt in 1804 because there you can discover the Guyanés massif, the hydrographic slope of the Rio Inírida and the characterization of what is now known as Guaviare, a waterway connecting the Guayabero and The Ariari. »

After breakfast begins the long-awaited trip to the Orinoco River basin to the village of Amanavén Vichada, at the mouth of the Guaviare River, crossing the town of Amanavén Vichada, passing through La Estrella Fluvial de Oriente, La Roca Maviso, the Bocas del Rio Atabapo , places where they will enjoy the splendor of the union of the red waters of the Atabapo River, the Earthy Yellow of the waters of the Guaviare River, and the waters of the Tea of the Orinoco River, sighting Toninas (Pink Dolphins) and Otters, along with the exotic of the landscape.
